LERO (Bachelor thesis)

The LERO marking system stands for an innovative semi-autonomous robot concept, which is used for independent ground marking of booths, in exhibition halls. These markings form the basis, on which all subsequent work is based. They are used to coordinate the layout of the exhibition booths and therefore are essential for the detailed planning of an exhibition event.

Currently all ground markings are carried out manually, completed with high time pressure and enormous physical and psychological effort. So LERO solves existing problems and optimizes the entire marking process. The marking robot is also supposed to relieve and support the workforce.
Throughout the simplified application, LERO can be used fast and effectively.
By using a specifically designed App, several robots can be operated and controlled simultaneously with a mobile phone. Product diversification offers the possibility to adapt the LERO marking system easily to similar application areas, such as warehouses, roads or construction sites.
